GoFar Mobile Sales Manager provides mobile ordering for SBC Foods
SBC foods a wholesaler of food products to independent grocers, restaurants and other food retailers, is using GoFar Mobile to enable mobile sales staff to collect orders while at their customers sites.
GoFar Sales Manager Pro is installed on M3 Mobile PDA hardware with Windows Mobile 6. The M3 connects in real time to the GoFar Management Server, via the Vodafone 3G network.
Products, Customers and Orders are synchronised from the mobile PDA with the Host GoFar Management Server in real time.
The GoFar Management Server is a website that links mobile devices to MYOB or other hosts systems. By synchronising with the Gateway, Products, inventory and pricing update are transmitted to the PDA, and in turn, Orders and Payment information is sent back to the Host ERP or accounting system. In this project MYOB Enterprise is being used as the host system.
