GoFar EDI integration between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Manhattan ILS
Magna Home Entertainment Pty Ltd (Formerly Magna Pacific PL) a wholesale and distribution company, supplying DVD and other media to retailers in Australia. One of the companies subsidiaries, namely; Beyond Home Entertainment went live with the GoFar EDI solution. The solution includes a tight integration with the host systems; namely Microsoft Dynamics NAV (the ERP/accounting system) and Manhattan ILS (the Warehouse Management System).
The role of the GoFar EDI software is to link the host ERP system to all of the Retailers that transact electronically with Magna Pacific.
GoFar EDI achieves the dual role providing the B2B connection to outside retailers as well to integrate the internal movement of sales orders and packing declarations between the Host ERP and host Warehouse systems.
The result is a completely electronic link between Retailers placing Purchases to Magna Pacific, to the warehouse, and with shipment responses being sent back to the Retailers.
