Nortech Australia Research and Develpment program Update NORTECH develops a suite of software products called GoFar Software that provides business's with a trading platform connecting Suppliers and Warehouses to Retailers, E-tailers and customers.
The aim of the system is to facilitate trade by connecting companies via the internet. Warehouse Inventory, Purchase Orders, Shipment Notices, Invoices and Payments and other information is shared, to ensure that products are ordered and delivered correctly and on time.
Using internationally recognised EDI standards and GS1 barcodes, trading relationships are set to provide seamless transfer of messages and files between multiple trading partners.
Modules include: GoFar EDI for mailboxes, scan packing and basic warehouse operations; GoFar WMS for advanced Warehouse Management; GoFar Mobility for mobile sales people and field service operators; GoFar Connect for Consignment Notes, Manifests and store Proof of Delivery (POD).
The vision is to make use of the internet as a trading network, making connection between companies seamless.
